hello friends,

I have started building more sites and testing niches. I have one question that many experienced warrior members can prolly... answer.

Is it good to build a site on a niche that has lower CPC?
i guess that low CPC topic sites can make money because the target audience has money in pocket it would become profitable.

many advertisers might not be advertising for that product but may be to that target audience?

For example, "short hair cuts" is a keyword that has around 10 cents per click, but , can google show ads related to other topics related to fitness, etc and fetch me higher ctc.

What's your experience?

Why not try funneling your visitors to a page with high CPC.

Get traffic from low CPC keywords(but easy to rank) and funnel them to a page with high CPC(hard to rank)

Bwala! you got a high paying click

Easier said than done, because since your site will be optimized for high CPC keywords, and the adsense ads show CONTEXTUAL ads, I wonder how you will rank for low CPC keywords and not get slapped by the big G

You pick a niche that you can devote the time to develop it
in a good way in all aspects, including content.

The fantasy of high paying clicks is just that. Fantasy.

Google just does not put high paying ads on your site
"just because" you think you have the right niche. The value
of the ads on your page is due to a whole gaggle of reasons.

Everyone here would be doing only one and the same niche.

In the end contextual ads like that will show more often to the end user what they usually buy or take interest in anyway.

You cannot really control it, and you cant game the system without it eventually being plugged up.
