Call me cautious but can Google track the IP that a Web 2.0 property is created from?

Do I need to use a proxy to create multiple Web 2.0 properties because of Google or because of the Web 2.0 company seeing my IP address setup a ton of sites on their domain?

Thanks.

Google won't have access to that sort of data on a third party site.

They can see the IP address of the website you place the content on and it is believed that having links from the same website has diminishing returns. It is unliklely to have a negative affect, just not much of a positive affect.

Normally google never track third party ips but if you willing to use proxy to create web 2.0. properties it is good for you. if in future google change their algorithm or track the each website ips then you never lose your position on search result.

If you are using Blogger then maybe, because Blogger is owned by Google, but no Google can't access third party websites (Like hubpages) for info on your account/ip address.

    Thanks!

But would Hubpages care if I created several hubs? Do they track IPs?

Would it be wise to use a proxy when created multiple HUBS or LENSES?

As long as you post under one username they should welcome the fact that you are posting several lenses.

If you are trying to violate their ToS then you should be ashamed of yourself.
