I have been trying to get more traffic to my site by blog commenting, directories submissions, started doing some article submission also. My question is RSS feed submissions. Is this any good to submit to to get traffic or is it a waste. Thanks for your help!

Pretty much everything you have done is a waste lol. From an off page SEO standpoint, it is great to have a variety of backlinks, so you're doing good in that aspect.

For traffic... how often do you search directories for someone or some site? When you read a blog, do you even read the comments? Do you subscribe or ever check out an RSS feed? I would continue doing what you're doing, but that isn't going to help traffic itself...

I explain this in detail in my WSO(sorry for the plug). Basically, you need to be doing your off page optimization, WHILE getting traffic. You could be using social media to bring in more traffic. Blog comments, usually don't help with traffic, only link juice, if you get the good ones. Articles are good, maybe use press releases too, that will help you with additional traffic.

There is a lot to it! I suggest reading around the forum, maybe checking out a few WSO's, so you can speed up the learning curve.

It is basically, what you do off your site, that matters. Creating an offpage network. Backlinks, visibility, brand awareness. Squidoo is great, and I use it, along with about 100 other sites lol.

The most effective way to make money with rss feeds is by creating a blog. Any blog service you use should already be set up with a working RSS feed application. If you currently maintain a blog of your own, you can utilize the power of blogs to create and syndicate content across the internet for the sole purpose making profits.

Many web marketers do this is by writing frequent blog post about various affiliate products or services of their own. The next step is to submit your blog to an RSS feed submitter site or directory to increase the chances that people subscribe to your RSS feed. Making money with rss feeds can be easily done when using blogs.

All of these suggestions are great ideas and you should run with them. I think the MOST important thing to do is when you choose to do one of these such as article marketing or press release distribution is to do it! Take Action! That I think is the most important thing to remember. Even if you don't see results right away, nothing goes unaccounted for! Take action! Good Luck!

My suggestion would be to put in more focus with your backlinks.

If you are talking about the site in your sig then you should try and rank your individual pages that you have.

So do some keyword research and find out which niches are low comp. and start backlinking with your anchor text to blogs, press releases, profile links, directories, web 2.0 sites.

Also another thing you could do is to create unique youtube videos of different excersices and post your link in there.
