There's something wrong with Google and I don't get it

Last week of December, I created 2 different sites in different niches. One is tough and the other is weak.

1. site1 - posted 10 unique articles and SEOed as normal.
2. site2 - posted 5 unique articles and SEOed as normal.

Both sites have the exact keyword domains.
This March, I am starting to receive traffic from google but not through the main keyword. Both sites have around 900 backlinks but none of them ranked according to rank checker.

Related:

last month I got 5 blog installation orders. I created 5 blogs, put 5 unique articles in each blogs, and SEOd as usual....
Today I checked, these 5 sites are in 3rd to 4rh page and my 2 original sites are still nowhere to be found but getting traffic through tag pages...

Really strange, considering that the 5 sites for my customers have only around 200 backlinks each - and I'm doing the same promotion....

I don't understand.....

It is possible that your 2 sites indexed/ranked in 30 days as well but have since dropped. Have you been monitoring them since launch (regularly - not randomly)?

Keep an eye on the new 5 - they may drop too.

Other than this, keep posting content and building links. If you are still unsure whats going on then run a few more test sites and keep track of everything on a daily basis until you find what you are looking for.

I did keep them monitored and they did never got any rank... even 100+.. I am really wondering why this is happening... All contents are 100% unique in all sites.

It tells you that Google's algorithms are not very accurate and it takes time for them to compute 'correct' results.

Best answer. I agree, there's a lot of loopholes on Google's automated indexing..maybe I should wait..

A sort of conspiracy theorist type of person might also say...
    • Google possibly likes blog-sites more than non-blog sites.
    • Google may be getting better at catching unnatural linkbuilding and likes the smaller amount (200) more than the larger amount (900).
One thing I notice is that people here at WF sure seem to like getting huge amounts of links.

I've read posts where people say they have just got 10,000+ links to one of their sites and see other people offering to build 5k or more links at a time.

Considering most of my sites have a few hundred total this just seems like an incredible amount of links to me and I am very surprised Google doesn't look at it that way too.

      There's nothing wrong with google.

Google is under no obligation to do anything for you,
no matter what type of magical list you follow.

I am one of the non-believers of what they call "blast" and my links are all natural. I am a member of more than 200 forums where I post my signature at no morethan 20 per day. This is my very basic backlinking methods, my list of 30 article directory sites, and my 3 sets of linkwheels with web 2.0 sites. I never use any of this blasting service in warrior-for-hire folder for I experienced their uselessness.
