Irrelevant ads on cloned blog

Just wondering if this will clear up in time, or if there's something I can do to fix it. Really bugging me!
I used WP Twin to clone one of my blogs. On the new blog, I stripped out the old content, made new posts on an entirely different subject, changed all the meta data accordingly, etc.
However ... the home page for the new blog is still showing AdSense ads related to the subject and keywords of the the original blog.
I've combed through everything, all my plug-ins, permalinks, the code for my theme pages, etc., to see if anything in the new blog is still pointing to or referring to the original site ... nothing (that I can find).
My individual post pages are showing relevant ads. It's just the home page (which is set to show posts -- no special text or anything) where irrelevant ads are showing.
My blogs are very tightly keyword focused. It does me no good for people looking for "white dogs" to come to my White Dogs blog, only to be presented with ads for "black cats." (Not my actual subject but you get the idea.
).
