Adsense sites had malware; problem fixed, but now CTR is really low. Any ideas?

Hi all,

Some of you were kind enough to help me out when most of my Adsense sites got some malicious code in them which triggered a Malware warning, both in Google were the sites were listed in the SERPs and when trying to access them directly:

By all accounts, the issue seems to have been resolved. No warnings show either in Google or upon accessing the sites. The hosting company has scanned everything twice and it checks out clean.

The one site which still showed a warning in Google after the malicious code was removed was rechecked through webmaster tools and got a clean bill of health; the warnings are gone. All the passwords have been changed.

My Adsense stats show very similar numbers of total daily visitors vs. before the malware infiltration, but the CTR has dropped a great deal, by as much as 5 times what it was hitting prior to the malware.

I've checked the Adsense ads addresses on my sites at random (looked at the URL, not clicked them!). My publisher ID is correct.

Yet, this big drop in CTR seems to coincide with the sites being hit by malware, yet they all appear clean. There are clicks, but hardly any, whereas before there was a steady stream in a day.

I'm not sure what more can be done. I highly doubt that interest in the topics of the site, or new visitors dropped by five fold in a couple of days.

What do you all think?

Thank you!
