    Hi kragor,

Too many things wrong with your website for a forum post. I recommend that you start with Google's Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide.

One thing that really stood out to me was your use of a link farm. Here's what Google has to say about that:
Don't participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or "bad neighborhoods" on the web, as your own ranking may be affected adversely by those links.

I visited your site hardwood-parqueteam.ca and there is missing search engine submission coding. So submit your site in webmaster tool and place given code in your site. It may help you to get high rank.

You've put the GA code at the bottom of the page near the closing </body> tag. Google recommends it towards the closing </head> tag.

some of your coding is way too long man.
        <h2style="color: #333333; font-family: Tahoma, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 76%; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: #ffffff; line-height: 1.3em; text-align: center; margin: 8px;"></h2>

        <pstyle="font-size: 16px; text-align: justify; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px;"><spanstyle="font-size: 1px; line-height: 1px;"><br /></span></p>

        <h1style="font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: normal; color: #333333; text-align: center;" mce_style="text-align: center;"><spanstyle="line-height: 12px; font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;"><ahref="/">Hardwood flooring Toronto</a></span></h1>

This is your H1 tag, it's at line 217 - too far down the page, and it's after an empty h2 tag.
Strip all this out. did you design and code this bit in Word?

there are more than 200 factors
backlinks is one of the most important ranking factor.
site's age is also very important.
quality of links is more important than quantity.
Further try to get links from different domains instead from only a few domains.
google no longer counts nofollow links. focus on only dofollow links.

The first thing that I would tell you is to lose those link pages that you are running from the bottom of the page. I would check to make sure that you are not being penalized for something by google. I see a whole lot of outbound links leaving from those to pages and after checking in yahoo site explorer, do not see but 10 inbound links to your main page. That would be step one.

The other thing that I see on your site that is puzzling is that you have an email for a seo/graphic designer on your site. What is their outlook on what is going on? If you are advertising for someone that does seo work, you should be able to get some help from them as well.

just because you have more back links, you won't get a good ranking for a longer time, you need good on page optimization with quality original site content, which is updating regularly.
