You will hear a lot about Google Panda on TV news, News Paper, Internet and Radio. As an Internet marketing expert I get lot of phone calls daily asking what is Google Panda ?

    You are an internet marketing expert but don't know about the recent algorithm update with the project name 'Panda'?

    Anyway, it's the same that people on here are refering to as the "farmer update". Do a search in the forums, I know there are plenty of threads about it.

    Read some of the other posts here - the changes are being rolled out starting in the USA.

    Some sites (for instance, EzineArticles) have noticed a major loss of traffic.

    It depends on what you're targeting and where...

    Yes it was called "Google Panda" called so because it gave a lot of websites black eyes!

    I guess Google tries to compare Save Panda movement to Save Original Content movement on the internet, where more and more data is posted each day of far less importance is grown concern for search engines.

    I agree that the content is king in the SEO industry. But will the content designed from SEO perspective will be treated as SPAM and will be penalized?

      I think it's defining more sharply what they regard as 'black hat' tactics. This is erasing the gray hat area. Article spinning, blog commenting, profile link building and the like. Taking 80% of these mehtods and penalizing them as more black hat and the other 20% remaining as gray. Until the next update when they remove last remnants of the gray hat marketing.

      It makes the lazy, software SEO marketers go away because it is no longer point-click-higher SERPs and make the legitimate SEO marketers unfortunately work harder doing legitimate SEO projects.

      Will new tactics evolve? Yes but I think SERPs are really going to have to be earned properly. Content.
