Hey Experts, can you help me out in this please! I applied for Google AdSense for my Technology Blog but they declined my request saying "Page Type Issue".

Where do you think the problem is?

      The most conspicuous problems are:

      1.You are from India

2.You are using a Blogger subdomain

3.The blog is less than 6 months old

Clearly you can't do anything about <1>.

Try doing something about the other two

      Regards,
      Samir

Read the TOS. You don't have a conforming privacy policy or contact page.

agreed with you. I have some friends using blogspot as well. They ONLY post a few post in their blogspot and they get their adsense approved. However, I am not so lucky like them.

Post some original content to Hubpages or Docstoc and apply for adsense through Hubpages or Docstoc. It has worked for many of my friends, who got denied using blogspot. Hope it works for you too..

            Thanks.

Yes, that is very true. I started hubbing on HubPages and with just 2 or 3 hubs, I applied for adsense and my account was approved.

          Hey Swayam!

I agree these are not the only relevant points.

My personal philosophy-related blogspot blog got approved in 15 days.

The rules 2 yrs later have changed. What I'm saying is that these reasons could be factors, apart from obviously duplicate content, low content etc.

If they are saying ""Page Type Issue" then change theme of blog and also read all term and condition to approval for adsense account then again apply.

Your Content Should be Substantial and Original, You should add Google Privacy Policy and Contact Page on your Blog, You should also Run a Copy Escape check on your Blog and then Apply for Adsense. but i do agree that Google wont allow you to use adsense if you have a blog which is not old then 3 months atleast.

It's weird, I got approved about a year and a half ago, and I used a blogspot subdomain which was newer than 3 months.

Maybe you just encountered the wrong reviewer, but you MIGHT want to work on the template a little - it seems a little unfinished, I don't know, a bit messy with the all-white background. And that footer at the bottom is half-empty because of the big widget. It might create the wrong impression, even though I think you have made an effort to write original content and not spam affiliate links everywhere.

Come on people. Get real here. The person is in India.
The rules change. Like own domain, 6 months, etc.
      Those are "page type" issues.

      indihow nailed it.

I've been with Adsense for over 4 years now, I know things have changed & it's not as easy to get accepted.

If I was new, I would try weebly just to get a new Adsense account.

Don't worry about the 50/50 revenue split with weebly, your not going to make any money with Adsense at first regardless of a revenue split. Your goal is to get accepted, then move on away from weebly, & get your own domain + hosting (hostgator, etc...).

Just saying weebly might be an easier option to get accepted with Adsense.

I would still leave the weebly site intact & never delete the site, after moving on to your own sites.

I'm in the USA so I don't know how, or If weebly will work for you guys outside the USA, still it's worth a try & doesn't cost anything.

Looks easy to setup + free,

This link tells you how to get accepted to Adsense, read 100% of the page & understand what your reading, otherwise your wasting your time & will no doubt be rejected.
