Hi. Alright, so I have a Bluehost account now, but I want to get into site flipping later on - People have said that Hostgator has a really easy function for this.

Do you guys think its worth getting a Hostgator account too then? Or will Bluehost be getting this user transfer function too anytime soon?

It would be a guess to say that Bluehost would, so if I were you, I'd stick to what everyone in the site flipping "arena" knows, which is HostGator.

    1. Bluehost is terribly unreliable with uptime and is extremely slow if your site is getting over a couple hundred visitors and is anything but a static website.
    2. Hostgator is better, but not by much. You'll hear people swear by them until they start running into issues with scaling later on - especially on dynamic websites that rely on databases.
    3. Never let a hosting provider saying they make transferring ownership be the basis for this decision. It's like someone saying they're selling 0 calorie water: all water has 0 calories.
If you're flipping sites, you're still going to need to provide full documentation and login information, contact the host and let them know about the change, etc. when you use an Escrow agent.

I'd go with a provider that has has someone that speaks in your native language answering those phones 24/7 when you need support, such as Verio. That's a big selling point to anyone buying a site and will make transferring ownership much easier. Just call them up, tell them to move the site reference to that person's backroom/admin area and you're good to go, because that's what would happen anyway if it was automated.
