Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend us some alternatives to google adwords.
we would like to advertise our website but prefer to pay with paypal.
google adwords do not accept paypal, i guess because they compete with them through google checkout

any ideas?

I heard about service called "adbrite", they DO accept paypal, but are they good?

    Facebook?

Adbrite, etc are there but probably not at the level of Google (of course!). Facebook, though it follows a different model, is right up there in terms of traffic and reach.

You're jumping from Google Adwords to AdBrite and then to Facebook.

I think you need to kick back and assess what you're actually looking for.

Google Search, being a search engine is permission based, as in, people are looking for something specific, and your ads are displayed to those who search specific terms (that you determine).

Facebook and AdBrite on the other hand are interruption based ad networks, as in, your ads are displayed based upon demographic targeting options.

The latter is less likely to convert into immediate sales then the former.
