Article Marketing

Am setting up a number of niche sites, using article marketing as main way of getting backlinks. Have submitted loads of articles over last few months to ezine , and am getting backlinks to my sites from them and moving up google (slowly)

My question / problem is that the articles I'm submitting to ezine don't seem to be being picked up by sites and being published anywhere else. A couple of articles have been, but very few and am trying to work out why that is. I thought that if you publish articles to ezine they would be picked up and published on other sites, but mine don't seem to be !
( I'm talking over last 4/5 months)
Most of my articles on ezine are in main categories and get fair number of viewings on ezine

Any advice, thoughts etc much appreciated

    I think using syndicated content such as articles from EZA is less popular now since the Google's Panda algorithm change.

    For me, the best thing that EZA brings to my business is the backlink and some traffic. I don't care if my articles get published by others.

      It is rare to get republished with link intact these days. Too many people know how to strip out html from a backlink. Although the TOS prohibits stripping out the link, this is more and more becoming routine. If you are using automation to submit your articles to directories, then you are using your time efficiently and the backlinks from the directories are providing benefit. If webmasters actually respected the TOS of the article directories, I would have a lot more backlinks! Sigh....

    Just use EZA for traffic to your site. Other than that it doesn't provide any SEO benifits as mentioned in many SEO courses. Try to concentrate on forum profile backlinking instead of backlinks from article directories. If you wish you may pm me, I'll give you readymade SEO plan free of cost. Hope that helps.
