Google and the farmer update

Hi friends,
i'm not allowed to post links here but you can read the article I just read by googling "Google Vs. Content Farms (Infographic)" is on the focus site

after reading that it appears writing quality articles on ezines etc... isn't gonna produce good traffic anymore on google. Was just curious if you guys been affected by it.

    Ah, but you missed out on what the whole update was about. Driving down LOW quality content. The fact is there was/is a lot of poor keyword-stuffed content on the content farms. The idea is to drive up the quality in the search results. I have articles on several of the content sites including Suite, AC, Hub, Squidoo, Ezine and yes my god on eHow too. LOL

    The Thursday night it hit everything went south. 4 days later, I started seeing article ranking again, some better than before. The sites all got hit with one fell swoop of the sickle then it appears like individual articles were getting reindexed.

    The quality content is what Google wants. It's that simple. It really doesn't matter where the content is.
