Web Rank Info on we talk a lot and best SEO techniques to improve the ranking of its site. But how to increase the number of visits without working its referencing? This article gives 10 tracks.

Here are 10 ideas to promote your website, other than by referencing.

1. Make a Flash game. If successful, people will like and will link to it. You may be thinking "Yes, but the game must be really smart and original that people make a connection." Look in the newsletters or emails you receive from your colleagues games they are talking about! This idea had already been given on WRI article via Viral Marketing and SEO .

2. Have a contest. If you have money, the best way to spend it is probably to create a contest or something like that. Remember the buzz of the recent contest "Win an iPod" which talked about all over the web.

3. Make a video delusional and offer it online. I'm not sure it works (I never tried) but I feel that most users like to watch funny movies.

4. Create a blog ... and blogging!

5. Repeat the design of your site. It may be necessary, but in any case it shows the people you're there and you work to improve your site.

6. Repeat the promotion of a former part of your site as a novelty, by changing a minor detail anyway. OK, just kidding, but there is some truth behind it, even details that have changed are "deserving of links," then why not talk? Large companies do this very often through the press releases.

7. Provide a specific URL for everything. Do not use pop-ups, do not add too many parameters, do not address too long, do not use frames or sub-pages included in the Flash or DHTML , do not redirect and do not forget to indicate the permanent URL. On the Internet, word of mouth needs a good URL.

8. Stay natural, truthful and staff. Whatever you do, do not lie, because there are so many web experts in all fields, and the time they spend online to do their research will find the smallest error.

9. Come on, remove the beta.

10. Stay original and find new ways to exploit your ideas.

Some strategies like making a flashing and holding a contest, i think, are not realistic for common websites.

Agreed, they'll work for certain sites, but may be damaging for others.

I would add guest blogging to that list. The "approval" of a like-minded authority site can do wonders for your online reputation!

When you add these 10 options plus the most fundamental PPC then you will have a distinct opportunity to grow your natural traffic.

Let's say you say you are willing to spend $10,000.00.

You create 100 targeted ads based on your keywords and keep a minimum of US$0.10 per click. That would give you 8,000 + targeted visits monthly.

Let's say your niche allowed you to sell a product valued at $97.00 then a 2% conversion, normally seen on laser targeted traffic would give you just about $15K almost a 100% return.

You would have enough profit to create good content and increase your website size.

It just takes the initial investments.
