Sorry But I think I have asked this question before and getting confused.

This is the situation:

I have 1 blog for example Blog.com, the main keyword is in the domain and i have also the 1 category same as keyword too.

I have just found another 4 keywords I want to rank for? Now how would I do this?

1) Do I create another 4 categories??
2) Do I just post using same original category?
3) Do I create 4 additional pages for additional keywords??

I know how to rank etc but this is the only thing Im getting confused on, if there is a diagram or steps someone can show me I would appreciate that.

Sorry for being a bit thick but just not clear on this matter and the best way to do it!!

Thanks in advance

If you are Targeting to make money with Adsense, I would advice to not make posts about other Niches.

Let me explain, as an eg, you have written a blog about say party Decorations. Now you bought a Exact Match Domain and made targeted Posts targeting the Primary Keyword. Now you should add Posts as In make other pages in the same blog targeting More high Cpc keywords of the same Niche. So you can target keywords like party decoration costs, hiring a professional decorator etc.
These will be your secondry keywords.

In another case, if the keywords that you want to target are totally different than your Primary keyword, Don't write articles targeting those keywords in the same blog! If in the presesnt case, you want to Target keywords for eg exercise to keep fit and your thinking of posting about them in say your Party Decorations blog then Don't. You're better of buying a different domain with the new keywords you want to Target.

Posting about 2 different Niches on the same blog can mess up the adsense ads that are shown unless its an article directory site.

      Hope you can understand now

I just want to note that Google Adsense display ads according to contents near the ad unit. So if OP wants to add some keywords related to the former one, it will be ok, OP can decide add pages or categories according to the contents(categories for lots of contents, pages for less).

    Hello:

The best way I can think of is create new categories for each keyword phrase. Use the keywords in the title of your category, your posts, body of posts, and tags. Be sure you choose the permalink structure that actually uses your titles in the URL.

Are all the keywords related? If, they're for example, SEO, PPC, and Social Media, make a category for each, and post appropriately.

Just post good quality content on a regular basis relating around your new KWs. Don't overthink your categorisation. Categorise it for human readers rather than search engines. Put the posts where you would normally put them, regardless of what you think Google wants to see.

For example at the moment domain is my keyword and the category is the keyword too.

i since then found 4 associated keywords which i think i can rank for so do i create 4 categories (4 assoicated keywords) and post under there??

Or do I carry on posting under 1 category i have??

All of the above is correct! and my suggestion is, yes create an additional categories and also create a specific page based on your keywords, because on this, you can use them on your link building as your landing pages.

    Step #1:
Create 4 new individual pages, 1 page per keyword.

    Step #2:
If those 4 pages are related put them all in the same category. If they are not related, create a new category for each new subject (not keyword).

    Examples of transportation categories:
    A) car
    B) truck
    C) motorcycle
    D) boat
    E) etc...

No,you need to create categories.because it's lsi keywords and not subkeywords. Each this lsi categories can have own subkeywords.

I make new pages for additional keywords, this way you can completely optimize the page for that term. This also requires you to do some deeplinking to these pages, but overall this is a stronger approach.

Yes, I suggest you target 2 keywords on your main blog home page and then any other keywords you want your blog to rank for you should use internal posts and pages for them. Generally you want to rank for 2 sets of key phrases for every page.

If you plan on fleshing your site out with a bunch of keywords and more pages (which is a great idea) you will need to make sure that you add categories and that each page gets posted in the relevant category.

For my AdSense sites I only target one keyword per page. I end up getting visitors for all kinds of search queries though. Be patient with inner pages too. They dont seem to rank as fast or as high as your main page will.

Each page should contain a lot of content...800 wordsish. Put your keywords in 3% of the content, link out to a high authority website (nofollow), link to another page of your own content (follow), include the keywords in bold, underline, italic, and be sure to add them in h1 h2 and h3 header tags.

    Good luck!

    Add a category about "widgets"

Write posts about widgets, and the different colours they come in, and posts about how good you found a particular widget. Add tags for the various widgets.

That's it. Dont over think it.
