How to link my articles to my site?

Hi

I put up couple of articles in Squidoo about a month ago and each has a link on the page to link back to my money site. However, up till now when I run the backlink report, there is no backlinks from those articles that I have written. I wonder why?

I did few backlinks to those articles as well, not many though. Is that the problem?

      Is your Squidoo lens indexed? Did you check your sites backlinks using Yahoo site explorer or the free version of seospyglass? I find that these two are good for showing what backlinks have been indexed.

      I believe that the articles may not be indexed though. When I get a squidoo lens indexed, shortly I see the squidoo lens showing as a backlink to whatever site I linked to in the lens.

      Ping your articles, bookmark them, and submit the rss feed to rss directories to get the lens indexed.
