How long is it usually before you can add privacy with go daddy?

Hi guys

Ive just bought an expired domain through gd, but i cant add the whois privacy until it shows up in my domain manager. How long does it usually take before you can add privacy protection?

I want to add it asap so i dont waste my money :confused:

    You'll be able to purchase whois privacy once the domain comes under your control IMO.
    It can be implemented instantly, assuming you have the domain and whoisprivacy credit with you.

      Yes, thats what i understand, but as its not showing up in my account yet with gd, i m wondering how long it does actually take to show up, becasue when it does then i can add privacy
