Buying expired high PR domains?

Hi guys,

What's your advice on buying expired domains with a relatively high PR and then changing the content on the site, to link to either your own sites, or sell links on that webpage with the high Pagerank?

I just bought an expired domain yesterday with PR4 and now put up content to link to my own site. Is this good or bad? From my point of view my own site now has a PageRank 4 link from a domain that only has a few outbound links, so it must be calculated as good value? Or?

    Also,

If purchasing an expired high PR site and then chancing the content to let's say Adult-content, will it then be considered a high pagerank adult site?

That's fine but ensure that it is hosted on a different IP than your site. Also, update it every now and then with new, fresh content.

Also, I'm not sure whether Google uses whois to see if you own that domain too?! It migh be worth opting out of whois or using a different name??

Cause I just bought a PR4 and PR6 domain for just 8$.. Now im wondering if I should change the content to lets say gambling, and get some high value links from these sites into my "main site"?

Where did you buy them? I would say you should go ahead and experiment it. I'd also love to see the result

      Whoah...

Where did you buy them? So cheaper.. It is worth to buy since you can link to that sites rather than investing into link building service.

Back to the point, you may change the content so that google spider crawl and find those website have other keywords. But ensure that all the gambling keyword or posts deleted from those sites.

My biggest advice is don't buy them from DigitalPoint, a bunch of scammers over there.

if you have a PR4 domain, yes, you can sell some links and link your site to it. How ever you have to keep building links to that site, otherwise with next google PR update, it's PR may drop.
