Homepage Deindexed, Other pages still in SERP

Anyone know how this is possible?

UPDATE: Homepage is indexed again...but not ranking at all. I was on #6 and #14 for my main keywords. It totally disapeared.

What could be going on?

      It is pretty common. Keep doing your work and in 2-3 days it will rank better

        Did you change any of your META info? Sometimes this can happen if you change your title.

    it's not de-indexed because your pages are still on Google results. but when the keywords is still not showing up on their current position in a week, maybe it was penalized. For Google penalty information maybe you can visit this site: smallstepsseo[dot]com/types_of_google_penalties.html

      I haven't changed anything. One possiblity is that google was ranking my site without www. (I don't even know why). Other pages were ranked with www. So I removed the www in webmaster tools and wordpress settings.

      I also noted that Attracta had scr*wed my robots.txt and sitemap (replaced with some attracta sitemap)

      My homepage is indexed again, but not ranking at all. There goes my hard work lol, I was on page 1 and 2. Now I notice other pages ranking at page 4 and 5, but homepage is still lost.

      Do they send a mail or something if you get this kind of penalty, or a warning in webmaster tools? because I dindn't get anything.

      I only noticed that there was a very low activity in the Crawler Statistics (compared with the other days this month)
