That's awesome! I'm trying to see if I can get some type of support group myself. This is really hard. Just trying to figure out how to go about it can be dizzying. Luckily, posts like these help to inspire. How long has he been at it?

Might want to look into hosting the site at Amazon Web Hosting , Amazon can handle large traffic spikes without bogging down.

I was the one who introduced him adsense, taught him how to create blog, SEO, and promotion. One of our friends created a news website and since my friend is really good in writing, they worked together created a news revenue sharing site. My friend is averaging $800 to $1200 per month from his adsense share. I am making the same amount but not from adsense as I am focusing on other venture.

I just can't believe $1100 in one day.. this is too much. Can you share the website with us.

I'm sorry but that is a real top secret.. The topic that raked that amount actually was about "$319M Mega Millions winner"

Now someone needs to teach him how to get a decent click through rate. 2,000 clicks on 130,000 impressions is terrible. That $1,000 day could have easily been a $4,000 plus day.

The site is a news website and they are more focused on information than the ads.. and besides, it has a lot of photos.. It was not designed for adsense...

There is People with 200 micho niche sites that don't even come close to that

number !

His facebook message to me posted several minutes ago.
Translation:
The funny thing is, the winners have been revealed and they already claimed the prize. I have a follow-up post.

And the server is not really affected so we can still post although its becoming slower.... ( he was talking about the surge in traffic)....and the lotto winner which the news articles is related....

Actually it's not one guy blog....the core team is composed by a lot of jounalists, plus they are writing thousands of bloggers (as they stated) !!!

So the revenue goes to a lot of people......I guess they shared over 5000-6000 Euros a day !!!

Frequently TV News shows featured some blog posts ,too

Anyway, from personal experience I know that Google Trends it's a good tip to boost your blog traffic !!!

It was just one day when the news topped yahoo news website. The next day he earned $260, the 3rd day he earned $180 and now back to his daily normal of $50 to $70

This is a big jump of his earning cuz of surge of rush traffic but it does not last long. Better to get his sevaral aritcles to sit top on google result is the last long deal for him
