I have a situation and need your advice.
I have a micro niche site, and I have good rank( no.1) on long tail keyword. So I want to make the site get higher position on shorter keyword, I submit spin articles to 200 free article directories site and point back link to my money site with the shorter keyword.
After few day, my site rank jump from No.11 at this shorter keyword to No.6. So I do some back link at my free articles. But after following days, my money site is disappear. I search through 50 pages and did not find it even at my long tail key word also.
I checked by copy the site url to Google and see Google is still show my site.
My question is my site get sand box or Google dance. Do I need to get back link to my free articles back link or submit a new back links.

    HI Xnice,

Its a Google dance! I'm going trough the same thing here as well. And i see alot of new threads asking if their sites were sandboxed or not, and most of the time you will get replies saying its just a Google dance and to just keep building backlinks to your website for it to pop up.

    All the best!

It's the Google Dance. How do I know? Because the Sandbox DOES NOT exist. Period.

It's a good thing for your site when Google takes you out for a night on the town (or even several weeks). You'll come back stronger than ever.

Google Dance is good. Learn to love it.

Google Dance is often used to describe the index update of the Google search engine. Google's index update occurs on average once per month. It can be identified by significant movement in search results and especially by Google's cache of all indexed pages reflecting the status of Google's last spider. But the update does not proceed as a switch from one index to another at one point in time. In fact, it takes several days to complete the index update. During this period, the old and the new index alternate on google.com. At an early stage, the results from the new index occur sporadically. But later on, they appear more frequently.
