Using more than one H1 tag per page?

Do you think it is bad for seo to have more than one H1 tag per page? I like the size and formatting of the H1 tag in wordpress and would like to use it more than once, but I am worried that it might not be good for seo. Any opinions?

    i think it's better to have h1 and multiple h2s
    btw you can make the style the same if you want, just edit the css
