My website has dropped in number of visitors! :(

I built a website about two months ago and I started promoting Amazon's products on it. Since I am a newbie in field of SEO, I decided to grow the website naturally and learn SEO knowledge at the same site to do some SEO stuff on my website. I came across FreeTrafficSystem.com and SocialMonkee.com one day and found out those services are kind of good for backlinking. I started making backlinks to my website and writing articles. It was good at the beginning (first couple of days) and even I had some of the items sold using my referral links. I am not sure if the spike in traffic that was driven into my website, was due to the impact of backlinks or the work on the website which I had been doing during one month. But all I can say is, I had a spike in traffic two days after I started backlinking.

It was all good until I got nothing in traffic after 3-4 days of backlinking using FreeTrafficSystem.com and SocialMonkee.com. When I say nothing it means 100-150 daily visitors became 5-10 in just a day. Now, when I search my domain in Google I get only the Facebook page and Twitter account I created for the site. I used to get 5 pages of search result when I googled my domain and all of those 5 pages had my domain in the URL.

Some of you warriors please help me since this drives me crazy to not know what the reason is. Someone told me something about Google sandbox and said if this happens you have to say goodbye to your website! That's a pain guys. Need your help.

    Maybe it was just a spike from the free traffic website. Once that slows down, you are just going to see your natural traffic from search engines and other sources. What is the link to your website?

    Sorry Gholmali, don't hold your breath here. That site will not be coming back. It's been deindexed because it's nothing but duplicate content from other sites.

    Google has no respect for sites that only post content scraped from other sites. I couldn't find a shred of original content on your site, all of it is copied.

    You can get away with it for a month or two, but eventually Google will mark your site as junk and remove you from their index, which is what happened to you.

    It's time to start over with a new site. This time, write your own product reviews and blog entries and you won't have this problem.

    Did you also buy a ton of backlinks then stop?

    If so, then you were probably flagged for buying links and sandboxed as a result.

      It makes me sad to hear that! I didn't copy anything. I just used an auto-blogging premium plugin! waste of money and time!!!!

      I did not buy any backlinks. All I did was free backlinking! why should I have done that?
