Shared Hosting sites and backlinks

Hello warriors,

Please tell me your opinions...
If I have a number of sites, all on the same shared account (like hostgator baby...) with pr1+ ,and I have create a new site on the same account, is recommended(from SEO point of view) to put my anchored link on all of this sites ?

    Links from the website hosted on same IP is not useful - From my experience and many other SEO's experience.

    However Matt Cutts says it is useful. - I hardly ever trust what he says

      I agree with your first sentence, but not with the second. Traffic is the most important resource for all kind of internet marketing. And this valuable will visit the new site via this links. So, they are not value less.
