Keyword with 90.000 searches, no competition

But the problem is that 4 of the sites on the first page is 3-4 pr, 4-5 yrs old, but very low competition, the keyword domain name is free aswell, i can buy it anytime.

Now to the serious question, lets say that the people searching are looking for info, 90.000 searches and you are on 1st place, aren't you bound to make at least 1$/day, even if the ads are irrelevant and you get the lowest pay, 0.05 cent.

is it worth going after?

      exact, but I'm sure the click rate is very low, but I'm thinking that the human error might be to my advantage, people do tend to click on the wrong places?

      yes i know, its cheap, but the page that is nr 1 has about 1000 inlinks, all from twitter and blogs, but i will have the domain keyword, plus that i will SEO all the pages which they dont have.

      but it seems to be to good to be true, even if i make 1 dollar, has anyone made money out of "bad" or irrelevant traffic?

        with 90 000 exact I would build the site,with an exact match domain you could beat out those pr4 sites,but make sure you pass your keyword through google trends,if it's a short term trend I wouldn't bother but that's just me,you can still do it and many people make good money off of trends

    I see "tiger blood" gets 3,600 searches while "adonis dna" gets 1,900.

    Too bad about Detroit. Hope you have better success with adsense

    Steven: It has been going strong since 2009, and it will gradually go down i believe, but not in big quantities, i noticed that the majority of the traffic is from the phillipines, is that bad?

    If you get 90.000 searches per month on exact match then go for it before someone gets it before you. That would be 3000 visitors /day.
