Writing Posts for BMR?

I just joined Build My Rank and plan to write my own articles, both for price and quality. How should these articles differ from those I write for my site? Any tips? I don't want to waste time writing, and then they get rejected. I didn't see any area on the BMR site that suggests what to put into a post. Thanks.

BMR require articles with at least 150 words, and 1 link per 150 words.
You can find a link to post guildline when you write an post.

Obviously, since you could limit these articles to 150 words, they are not meant to be glowing, problem-solving writing. Maybe just quick blurbs? Should the articles be on the same topic and main keyword for the page to which it points?

You'd be amazed at what is really important there and I mean really amazed. Normally I just go on a blazing life threatening over hyped jump down your who said what type mentality and slam out some quick sillieness. Is that even a word? Of course I know what I'm talking about because look... it's grammatically correct.

Each post needs to be unique and some what relevant to your link. It doesn't really need to be informative, quality or... well thought out.

I recommend opening up the Write a Post page and typing until you're at 142 words, then finishing your sentence... I do about 12 an hour that way and I'm by no means a super fast writer.

That is at least 1800 words an hour.

It sounds fast when you put it that way.

But it's only 30 words per minute. So I'm probably typing at about 40 words per minute, which is about average.

That's 5 minutes for a 150 word article... that makes it look slow!

These articles are also some of the easiest you will ever need to write.

They don't need to be fantastic, just grammatically correct. So you can long wind ramble and BAM... you're done. On to the next.

Am I fast, slow or in between? I'd say in between. Some will be faster, some will be slower. I can't guarantee your success will be the same as mine as most people will never take action. So we can assume your words per minute will be 0. You will make no money, and I'm putting affiliate links every where I can.

Sorry about that... I've been writing those articles which leads to excessive rambling.

Hi Victor! I followed your advice and as a new BMR writer, i felt good finishing relevant posts but got really disappointed with rejections. I am quite sure that i came up with grammatically correct and relevant post but still got rejected. Now i have no idea on how to edit my post because i already followed the guidelines.

      Pls help... thanks

I'm a writing machine for BMR. Use your keyword in your title, first sentence and link, voila!! Get busy! BMR is awesome. Make sure you are tracking your keywords too. Rankerizer is free, but it is only for Windows. If you have Market Samurai, use the rank analyzer. Now......take massive BMR action, you will be amazed! It is one IM promise that DOES deliver.

Good grammar, avoid clauses, sprinkle in a fact or two but also you can be conversational. Do not spin anything.

I use about the same thing but do it in writeordie.com set at 150 words in 5 minutes. It helps keep me focused.

When you're advertising a BMR-post-writing service in your sig-file, and you choose to post here on that subject, emphasising the importance of spelling, you might want to spellcheck your posts? Just a suggestion: sorry to be so wombatesque, but I don't think "grammer" will pass a spellcheck ...

Mebbe not, but it'll pass BMR 9 times out of 10. Which is what really matters.

If he was advertising his "native speaker elite article writing service", then I might care if he misspelled grammer.

For BMR it only matters how many times he can type grammer and click submit in an hour.

Stories work well with BMR. So long as they are free of spelling errors and you have good grammar you are golden. You can include 1 link per 150 words.

So if your topic is on the latest TV, you can write a snippet about how happy your cousin was to find product xx because now she can watch her favorite show and the picture is so clear.

It is really kinda fun. I have all kinds of relatives who have problems that are solved in 150 words

You can write informational articles as well. Whatever you enjoy.

You keyword does not have to be in the title. Nor are you trying to drive traffic with these snippets. The goal is merely a link. Just write about your topic and include your keyword. I try to include the keyword within the first couple of sentences.

I can generally write one, add a link and proof it within 5 minutes. You may be able to increase your productivity using a speech to text recognition software. I use Dragon Naturally Speaking sometimes and can "write" a number of very quickly. I have outsourced a lot of them also.

Must have good quality, they have some sort of filters on the articles to fine mistakes, if you are going to write the articles yourself then you should consider getting something like Dragon Naturally Speaking as you will be able to crank out articles extremely fast

Lately, they are rejecting more posts. I think that they are getting more stringent. Make sure you don't have any spelling errors.

I have a question (newbie here sorry): How do I get clients to write for? I have been writing BMR articles for someone else for 6 months now, but I would like to have my own clients and write directly for them. The problem is I have no idea where to start. Please guide me into the right direction. Thanks

Reality check for them... if they care about quality, then they gotta pay for it.

Reality check for you... if you expect to be paid more for better quality, BMR is the wrong gig for you.

Basically I ramble on about almost anything. It doesn't matter what the content is. If you're writing about rayban designer sunglasses just start of saying "i sat on my rayban designer sunglasses yesterday and it really stinks. let me tell you how much it stinks!" It's free association baby!

Let me know if you want some articles though. I'm a fast typist and I normally crank out about 20 articles in an hour. And then my fingers bleed I sometimes use voice to text software though i find it's more of a hassle because then you have to proofread everything.

    Best 'o luck!
