Does duplicate code on one page affect Google analytics data?

Hi! I have a site and have added Google analytics tracking code twice on some pages inside this site. Of course that's a mistake. But does anyone know if this is affecting my google analytics data? Does Google analytics count each visit to a page twice if that page has the tracking code twice? Thanks.

    Hello Friends,

For example, you can't use filters to change the data in the reports. That's a HUGE problem because we have no easy way to manipulate the data in the reports. Also, if you configure on site search to strip the on site search query string parameter you could artificially inflate pageviews for some pages.

    Thanks

I don't think so, Google analytics is smart, it's able to identify this little mistake automatically.

So I did a little bit analysis before and after I deleted the duplicate tracking code. I think the most affected parameters are pageviews, bounce rate and avg. time on site.
