How long do you think it takes to rank for this

I have the domain keyword, the dot com for this.

So my question is, if we assume its worth it, how long do you think it takes to rank over this first place domain.

    Sorry, mind not thinking straight,

    Tell me 2 things first : exact searches per month + how many pages when inputing the search term in quotes (I mean go to the last result of the last page in google)

    Then: it also depends on the strength of your competitors, their links and link strategy, your budget (if any), content, monetisation strategy...

    Since you actually own the domain , why not share it so I can take a closer look

      I think you misunderstood, this is what I compete against. The .com for this keyword was available so i bought it.

      Their links for this ranking is nearly 350, few have anchor text.

      Im only interested in what people have to say if its possible, and how long will it take to do so?

      Lets say i built a webpage with all the on-page seo, with thekeyword.com and created 400 backlinks.

      Will i rank before this?

    Would help to know top ten sites page ranks, number of incoming backlinks to each site and age of these sites.... Putting search terms in quotes really tells you nothing. You are competing against the sites on the first page.
