Expanding domain names

I read that when using long tailed keywords, it is good to tie this into a domain name. In my pre IM days, (that being almost yesterday !) I always looked for short domain names. Any thoughts would be good thanks.

What about (note, not real sites) eg

ilovewarriorforumpeoplewhocanhelpme . com
i-love-warrior-forum-people-who-can-help-me . com

Can Google actually read the first one anyway, I know I can't.
Do these two names types have a name?

I sincerely thanks folks here who reply to us newbies.

    Hi,

These are too long, and you should always try to avoid dashes in the domain name.

Also, not sure if you added these exact domain examples for the purpose of example, but you would always want to have the KEYWORD in domain - something people actually ARE looking for.

It is always advisable to have the keyword in the URL - so even if you can`t get the exact same phrase in the domain, you can always add it to the URL (post / page name).

Oh yes, these were extreme examples, I sure hope no one ever bothered to use them before !!!!
Well, say you had ilovewarriorforum .com could Google read the separate words if I did not put a dash in?

Yes, Google can absolutely read each individual word, especially if your site is optimized for these keywords (title, h1, meta).

      Cheers,

Your examples are quite extreme but all that been said I actually been experimenting with similar domain like your example above. kent-courier-delivery-transport.co.uk

It is bit long to type in and bit difficult to remember but as far as the search rankings goes I have not noticed any difference at all. Works very well.

Google can even read the size of your shoes.
Try not to over 19 characters because actually they're 21.
You also have to include extra 3 for ".com".
    There's no problem with Hyphens.
The problem is people. They wont include them.
This is what I do with good results if the dot com is taken.
I go ahead and register the dot com with hyphens and also register the
dot net or dot org if available. I redirect the dot com to the dot net or dot org.
I only apply this procedure if the domain is really worth it.
