What counts as a EMD (Exact Match Domain) and which doesn't count?

Does..

exact-match-domain.com count?
exactmatchdomainx.com count?

Would you go as far as registering a .biz or .info for a Exact Match Domain?

Which is better a hyphinated EMD or a EMD with a suffix/prefix?

I'm thinking as going as far as exact-match-domain.biz - What would be your reccomendation?

I'd not register a domain with hyphens inside it (Very hard to remember)
I may go for .net or country TLD (Ex. .us for america if my target market is the specific country, as for .biz and .info, really looks odd to me)

Go for the EMD.com, or .net as your second choice.

If these are taken, add some related keywords in there with your domain keyword.

I would stay away from dashes.

anything with dashes or added words is NO LONGER an EMD. Yes, having the keyword in the domain name will still help with rankings (keywordinfo.com) but it will never have the same bonus to rankings that keyword.com would have.

Also, it only works well with .com/.net/.org. I tested both .info and .co and while they rank normally, they do not have the "EMD" bonus of the first 3 which helps them rank on the first page of google within weeks/1-3 months depending on the competition...

No idea on .biz, I never tried those.
