Thinking of buying AMR but just wanted to know a few things if anyone could help:

1) how many auto approved directories/blogs are there?
2) Do you need proxies for AMR

  I used the trial version but I think the paid version has around 3000+ Directories and I don't recall using proxies.

there is no need for proxies but you will need to get decaptchas unless you don't mind manually type the words

every blast to few thousands article directories I get a few hundreds of backlinks so considering its automated i feel its worth it.

so is there a way of finding out how many auto approved sites there are and what are they pr status.

Yes. Live Links reporting, either in html, csv etc. You can also create an rss feed.
