Everyday you see a new offer for High PR backlinks for sale on the warrior forum. You read the reviews and and the corresponding multiple pages of the offer thread and everyone speaks so highly. But then you scroll through the rest of the warrior forum and you constantly see people saying the only way to do well in this business to do backlinking on your own and not buy links.

So which is it? is buying link packages bad or good for your site?

The answers is (sorry about this) it depends. There are some sites which get a ton of backlinks at a time and shoot up in the rankings, doing very well. Other sites get a ton of backlinks at a time and get "the Google slap", meaning their rankings go way down. It's a risk you take when buying bulk backlinks.

I have found you are much less likely to get "slapped" if you buy just one or two high PR links at a time - in your niche. It takes more patience, but because it looks natural to Google, you don't get slapped for it. Feel free to check the WSO in my sig if you want - it offers a way to do that.

Backlinking packages often do work, but I really recommend going for a monthly SEO package.. not because I sell them, but because a backlink blast may increase your position in the SERPs for a few weeks and allow you to grab some quick sales, but you will often fall back down again when the backlinks stop coming in on a consistent basis.

I recommend studying SEO from this forum as much as you can before buying into these things, because there are a lot of good and a lot of bad products/services out there.

You just need to analyse them, and with a bit of SEO knowledge you can usually pick out the ones that will work and the ones that won't.

      Cheers,
I agree, do your own research and learn all you can about SEO. Then you will be able to make the best choices in terms of which links to buy.

If your theory was true, they would all land in Google's sandbox.

Furthermore, if this was true, all anyone had to do to kill off all your competition would be to backlink your competition with a few thousand backlinks each over night.

Look around this forum and find posts by some of the top SEO guys here and you'll see them saying the same thing. As a matter of fact, I learned it from them.

Sorry if this was a bit off thread, I just had to clear this up, as too many warriors are spreading this myth.

You would be surprised how few links it takes to rank, even with competitive terms. You just have to know which packets to use. I have never used a service, for me or my clients.

The honest answer is it depends on your ROI. The honest truth is most of the links being sold on WF and stuff are probably 5-10X cheaper than what SEO companies are paying for the same services. Yes, there are people paying $30.00 for 2,000 Xrumer profile blasts.

And the real answer is you can't do it all yourself. There is no way I am going to sit and load 400 articles in Article Marketing Robot when I can be doing something more productive.

It's depend on "YOU". If you buy links smart, it will work.

Why it's depend on you. Buying link is the same with exchange link, the only problem is if you let google catch you buying links, your site will get penalty and de-index. That's the only problem.

Buying link is faster than exchange link and you can have high PR site links back to you so it will be better than exchange link. But be smart and build it the natural way (Don't buy 100 of links on the same day and tell google that you're cheating).

So that's it, buying = cheating with google
