    email marketing is not eay unless you have 1000s of TARGETED email addresses. with that it can be successful sometimes.

    We send out over 10K emails per day. about 10% of these actually open the email and click through to our site. The key is that each email is dynamically created to target the end user. This provides a highly relevant and targeted message to each prospect. Relevance and timing are the keys to success with email marketing.

    I think Email marketing is directly marketing a commercial message to a group of people by use of electronic maillot it is more commonly thought of as using email to send ads, request business, or solicit sales or donations, any email communication that is meant to build loyalty, trust or brand awareness qualifies,Sending direct promotional emails to try and acquire new customers or persuade existing customers to buy again,Sending emails designed to encourage customer loyalty and enhance the customer relationship, Placing your marketing messages or advertisements in emails sent by other people.

    Sites like Groupon and Living Social prove that email marketing can still be effective if people want to receive your email!!!

      Email Marketing is effective there are things you need to do to get the best ROI as that can change depending how your relationship with the list is. If your just selling your stuff, affiliate links etc. with no real value for them they can care less.

      If you send a tip every here an there even a Joke every 3 days or so an then explain your pitch low balling them they will open it up to see the tip or even get a laugh an later continue to because curiosity killed the cat at the same time when you have a sale of something super good being straight up at the end of the day building a relationship.
