Your Google AdWords account has been permanently suspended...

Today I got an email from Google with the same subject of this post. I haven't used my AdWords account for maybe one year or more and I had deleted all the old campaigns, though they were still visible to me and to Google.

Some of those campaigns were direct linking affiliate campaigns for some testing and I am pretty sure the reason my account got suspended is those affiliate campaigns.

It is not a big deal for me as I am not using and I will not be using AdWords in any way for my own business but I wanted to let you know that you could also lose your account any time if you are running such affiliate campaigns.

So, consider twice before you try direct linking or any other poor affiliate campaigns. And do not ever start a campaign which violates AdWords terms even for a trial, because you will not be able to delete it and you might lose your account at the time when it is least expected.

And one last note: Do not build your online business depending on any third party website including Google!

I feel your pain. mine was banned a while back for a campaign i had paused and DELETED A YEAR BEFOREHAND. Total BS, and when i tried to contact them they gave me the "you're just screwed go to hell" treatment. Mine wasn't even related to HOW i was using it, just the thing i was promoting a LONG time ago was not legit or something. Plus, i never got an email or any notice. My ads just stopped working one day. Life goes on i guess.

Hi. I just started a google adwords campaign. Some ads were pointing to a squeeze page where people could opt in. It just had a video and an opt-in. The other ads were pointing to a sales page which had a sales video and add to cart. No other information.

Google suspended the account. Didn't even run them. From what I understand you have to have lots of content in the page you're sending the ad to. But, if I were to do that, the conversion would be pretty low because of the presence of articles that are distracting the viewer. Besides, it's an educational program I am selling access to.

Please tell me if anyone out there has ideas for me. I am tempted to try Bing and Yahoo but people have been saying they're not effective at all. What's the best way to make my landing page "correct" in Google's eyes?

    Thanks in advance.

      Hello Sofie,
Google hates squeeze pages, one page sales letters. Creating lot of relevant content is only option. I recommend you to refer websites with optin in sponsored listings..you will get idea.

If there were issues with you campaigns they stay even if they were deleted. They told me the only way was to fix the campaign, which didn't have any problems to begin with.
