I have a site ranked well in google. I only recently added adsense this past week. CTR was about 5-10% for two days, and now the last two days I've only received 1 click. Traffic always dips towards the weekend, but it hasnt dipped THAT much. Could it be that the ads are less relevant? THis is only the site's 4th day of adsense.

What's your average daily visits? If it's just a couple hundred, I could absolutely see it. If that's the case, I think you got lucky with 5-10 and that was an outlier and not the norm you should expect. If you're talking a few thousand a day and going to 1 click a day, something seems wrong.

      yes, maybe.

Why don't you check and see what ads are showing to get an idea?

Actually some new sites that I put adsense on get really good CTR and higher amount per click too for the first few days then it drops never to return. Ranking seems to stay the same during this trend. Not sure why.. maybe the advertiser realizes they're spending too much and lowers bids.

I can confirm that this is likely the case. I get about 200 AdSense impressions per day. I have some days where I get 10 clicks, and some days where I get 0. It is often just luck.

But you should also check the ads and think to yourself - if you were someone who wanted to read your site's content, would those ads be appealing to you? If not, try fine-tuning your site's content until the ads change to something more appealing to your visitors.

i normally get about half of what I normally earn on friday/saturday. I guess its better for you to leave it for 1 week and check the result again. Few days are not enough to judge the performance
