Any technophobes mastered SE Nuke X yet? Bad tutorials, where to start...?

Between the screwup with the launch, crashed servers, login creds lost in cybermail and having downloaded the OLD SE Nuke, I finally got SE Nuke X today.
It looked a lot more user friendly than the first SE Nuke did, but once I got it, and watched the first video, I tried to follow along, but the program wanted me to do something else before it would let me do what the video was telling me to do.
Now, I'm totally lost. There's no user's manual, and video is hard enough to listen to and follow along with when you have short people climbing all over you. LOL.
So can someone just tell me the precise order in which these videos are supposed to be watched?
