Google Adsense Analytics Code

I am in the process of adding the adsense tracking code from google analytics into my pages that have adsense in them so I can get analytics of my adsense added into my normal google analytics.

I just want to be certain of where I should be inserting this code?

It says: Paste this code at the top of any webpage in this domain that contains AdSense ads.

But can I just paste it somewhere where I only need to paste it once that will still work with all the pages to save me putting it on every page?

    If you're using Wordpress you can stick it in usually the header.php theme file and it'll generate the code at the top for every page.

    Not sure how you're building your sites though.
