What are low cost methods of finding subniches, that are good adsense keywords, that would be easier to rank?

I know there are services on this site that build these sites, but I'm talking about having a reliable method to use to find many subniches that will do well with adsense.

Thanks,
Mike

    I own lots of research software but I find that you can do everything just as well with just Google Keyword Tool. I also suggest you download SEOQuake plugin - which will help you with analyzing competition.

    Google keyword research tool is one of the best in the market for the same & overall its a free service by Google. the results were almost accurate & its pretty fast.

    the rule of the thumb is: choose the keywords which has less competition but higher search volume, it will give you a lot of valuable keyword suggestions only for entering a single keyword. as per my experience, its worth giving a short

      Okay, stupid question, but it's been a LONG time since I've been in there (google keyword tool).

      Can someone give me some brief instructions of what tab to click on, and what procedure to go through. I'd really appreciate it.

    Hi Mike,

    Check out YouTube for videos on using Google's Keyword Tool to research keywords. You will find a lot of info there.

    You need to determine what criteria you want to use to select your keyword phrase.

    I use and highly recommend AdSense $100K Blueprint in building my sites. Love it!

    Keyword Sniper Pro would be a great investment to find sub-niches and phrases you can easily rank for.

    • Your common sense AND keyword tools.

      For example;

      We have a hearing aid blog that makes over $2000 a month in Adsense, every month. Why? Because of this;

      1. Older folks tend not to mind clicking ads, and often don't know an ad from a link on the blog
      2. Hearing aids are really expensive and advertisers pay BIG for their clicks
      3. Very limited competition from bloggers - VERY limited
      4. The traffic is consistent throughout the year - see here on Google trends
      So when choosing your Adsense niche always consider what kind of people will be on your domain. Trying to get a 21 year old to click ads is really tough for most all niches.

        You make a great point! The demographic makes a huge difference. I found that women don't mind to click on ads either. I have a couple of adsense sites for the female demographic, that do okay.

        I don't want to by some guru's adsense product, as I've been online for 11 years, and do well, but it's been a while since I researched using google keyword tool, and just need a refresher.

    Personally I find no value it that tool at all in deciding what to put in an adsense site because there are too many variables that are not accounted for from within that tool. Actually I've never found it all that useful on the actual cpc even when using it in Adwords because of the quality score factor.

    Those that know how to write/format the best performing ads in the very limited amount of space given place higher in the results while paying less than those that don't.
