How to Recover From Google Panda Effect

I am a newbie, and I have gotten alot of help from this forum, so I found a way to help back, so to speak. I have been reading quite a bit about the new Google algorithm and how it has caused a big drop in many website and blog serps. Ezine Articles took a big hit and lost tons of traffic, as well as alot of other very popular sites. Some blogs actually had an increase!
If you have experienced a significant drop in your serps or traffic in the last few weeks, you may also have fallen victim to the "Google Panda Effect". I found an excellent article that has good info on how to recover from this "panda attack". I have no affiliation with these guys whatsoever, so don't even think about that. I am just passing on what I believe to be helpful information. You can read the article here.

Nice of you to post, but as for the article itself, I don't see much value add. It's just all the basic solutions that are talked about here a hundred times a day... good SEO, no dup content, social media promotion.

It's about as 101 as it gets and the Panda update shouldn't have forced anyone to do this. If you're even a semi-serious blogger, you should have been doing this all along.

Google Panda comes out to be one big thing for every blogger. Seems like Google wants to see each and every blog SEO optimized and SEO proof. IN other way, Google wants every blog to follow their quality guidelines and optimize blog according to their SEO guideline.....
Getting rid of Panda effect simply means you need to take care of those SEO steps which you have been missing over the time...

Stop the content farm....To be honest after Panda algo went live globally on 9Th...I have noticed a strange issue..
There are two blogs which are copying posts from my blog callingallgeeks.org and copying= Posting using Auto RSS method...
And they are ranking way before my original blog...
I have been filling DMCA notice using Google.com/dmca.html but again it has done lots of harm and I have been missing traffic...
Those spam sites are hosted on Hostgator and they asking me to follow a procedure to file a DMCA case which is quite lengthy...But seems like now I'm left with no other option....
Any1 wanna give me wise suggestion here??
