What to Pay Attention to in Market Samurai

I have been using MS for a while now but never really sure what to make my decisions on.

I have found a number of keywords that I want to target based on on PBR, SEOC and SEOT but what do you guys look for when you switch over to the SEOC page?

I think I am interested in the BLP column but what else should I be looking at?

Sometimes you could find a keyword like 'I like bug butts and I cannot lie' and it has say 100 searches per day and SEOC is 30000 (this probably isn't true but just for discussion sake).

I then go to the SEOC page and some PR6 8yr old domain mentioned it because its the site owners favourite song. I notice that there are only 90 BLP. What would you guys do with that?

Personally, I pay most attention to BLP and PR. However, you want to look at all the data as a whole.

I can't tell you exactly what numbers to look for because I don't really know what your SEO strategy is like. Just ask yourself if you think you could do better than one of site on the front page.

      Hope this helps.

I only use SEOC as a very broad over view, if the traffic figures and CPC are good for a keyword, I'll dig deeper, analyse the top 10 results in Google go from there. As Clayton says, page backlinks and PR is very important.

Also look at if they're actually targeting the keyword, if not, then they're not really competition, they're just there through random correlations not from SEO usually.

I dont use broad math. Try exact math and you are going to get a better idea about the keyword. As for the seoc is pretty exact. You should go for a word that has a seoc with green because they are easy to beat. Works for me. Is not simple but do not give to much credit to the PR of the site. If you optimize for that keyword you should do well. Here is a link that helped me figure out what can MS do The Challenge
