There are many ways where you can learn the way of increasing traffic, these may be forums, blogs, social networking sites, but don't do like others doing, you have to be much creative for that. It all depends on the creativity of the person not give the results by just to following the tips. Get more quality backlinks from quality sites. The more backlinks the net site have will certainly get lovely rank & giant traffic as well. Concentrate on social media sites which make your website familiar & yields more visitors to your website.

      Yes PPC is a good source to get traffic but it is paid and traffic get in a limited period. When you stop PPC, traffic also stop.
      But SEO is a source which gives traffic to your website upto long period. Forum posting and social bookmarking is the good one to get backlinks.

      There are many ways to get traffic to your sites and get backlinks. These Article submittals, social media submittals, ads posting, blogs commenting, RSS feeds submittals, Directory submittals, Squiddo, Hubpages, Facebook, Twitter. Granted it does required a little bit of work but if it is planned properly and wisely by doing a little bit at the time in each of the mentioned above you will get a good share of traffic and a good shares of backlinks to your sites.

    i just opened another thread ,when you talk about traffic ,what traffic ,traffic related to your keyword search? target related to your niche market ,what kind of expectations you have about people coming to see your blog when you search your keyword ..what numbers you search for , to have a guess of traffic [exact] "phrase" broad searches per page ....if your blog is chinesedogswithlittlespotsontherearlegs.com how much traffic you can expect to have ? I think to pick up the right niche the right market the right niche market is the secret about everything,but who knows it who know this secret dont tell you,for me all the other things as twitter facebook SEO articles are of secondary importance of course the convoy traffic to your website but what website to start is the problem based on what kind of expected numbers of visitors!
