Hello, Warriors!
Was wondering, if i were to submit my article to an article directory for a backlink, can i submit the exact same article that is on my website or is that not SEO friendly? I am worried that by doing so google will see it as duplicate content.

You can do that, since it is your own article but I would recommend spinning the article to get better results. THe higher your article ranks the better that backlink will be.

I use mass article creator to spin my articles. Its free you just have to search online for it.

Spin a little bit of your article. it will be look like a fresh article. there is not any problem to use article again in your website but spin article make it fresh.

no one can be sure but I've been around long enough to know that things like article writing and RSS feeds and keywords and domain slowly wear off in their effect over time as people spam the hell out of them.

No one can say for sure how much longer article writing is going to help a site regardless of how much you spin it or how many unique ones you write. If you look at it from Google's point of view over the last 4 to 5 years they have been absolutely flooded with mass spam articles just like your inbox at one point was flooded with spam prompting the need for spam filters.

I would say that it's high time Google filtered out all the spam articles. How they will do it I don't think anybody knows but it's about that time were they will make a change and that could be in this panda update.

So to answer your question if you don't see any results within 60 days I wouldn't put much more effort towards article writing. That's just a guess from what I've seen over the years.

What I can say with absolute certainty is that building on your own website is always the heart of the matter. A lot of people don't want to face this they want to take shortcuts to the top and it wastes a lot of time. A lot of articles pointing to a website that doesn't have much content or reason for people to stay won't help you very much

That will be not good for SEO purpose man. It can be detected in copy-scape. Be unique.

Google has updated its algorithm that don't give priority to duplicate contents. So it means that it is not good or SEO friendly to submit an article that has already been posted in your site. It will be considered as duplicate content. However, you can still do it by spinning your article.

I would not suggest doing that. You should not be sharing your website content on any article submissions dirs. You should write separate articles that you want to use on ezine publishing websites.
