    Hi
the software you're talking about (probably micro niche finder and similar) will help you find niche and micro niche keywords (decent amount of traffic and very low competition) in order to rank in search engines with no (or very low) efforts

        Free niche finding tool: https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeti...AS#search.none

My favorite paid ($97) niche finding (and more) tool: Keyword Analysis Tool - Market Samurai

But it's not just the tool that matters--like the saying goes, it's how you use it. Unfortunately, I've had to learn different methods by buying and studying many different marketing courses. There isn't one exact approach to it. You can see some of the variations in methods for FREE if you search "niche marketing" on Youtube.

The best FREE niche marketing course I've found is at: Make Money Online – Affiliate & internet marketing tips , where Pawel Reszka offers a great 7-part video course in Amazon marketing.

As a beginner, in my opinion, your best bet in getting started making money lies in building physical product review sites. Michael Franklin on this site offers a killer Amazon course that includes one-on-one email training. Jan Roos, also on this site, has a killer Amazon course called, I believe, the Physical Affiliate. Dan Brock rocks with his Deadbeat Affiliate course, and Wanda/Paula have a great course, too. Dan and Wanda/Paula also are on this site, and their training is directly related to Amazon.com items.

One general tip: in picking a good keyword, make sure it has traffic AND money-making potential AND relatively low competition.

Hope all this info helps. Good luck and have fun!

You can use software but by far the best way to start out is using your brain instead. Almost anything can be a niche, anything on TV, magazines, hobbies, interests... they are everywhere.

For example I am sat in my front room right now and if I look around I can see these niches without even trying:

        HDTV
        Online Gaming
        Comic Book Collecting
        Interior Design
        Beauty Products
        Photography
        Writing
        Sewing
        Doll Collecting
        Music
        Guitar Playing

        and on, and on....

Then you can take the ideas, throw them in the Google keyword tool (just Google 'keyword tool' and it will be the first result) and make sure people are typing it in the search engines. As long as there are people looking for it and related searches then it could be worth doing.

That's just the first step but an important one, hope it helps you get started on the next phase of your IM journey, best of luck.

I wouldn't waste money on a "niche software" the best way to find out what's in demand is either do your own research or ask as you've done here. Your next thread probably should ask what niches are hot right now?

Nulen I understand that your a programmer and the software side probably really appeals to you but ....... micro niche finder and other similar programs are designed to help automate some tasks for you. However you should practice at finding your niche without them at first! .you Can use Google trends tool to see the hottest trends to go into! . That plus your good programmer brain should point you in a good direction to go into!

You certainly can find a niche without software but the software makes it easier and faster. This is especially true if you aren't familiar with using free keyword finding tools like Google. I have and I use Micro Niche Finder, Market Samurai and I just recently started using Niche Finder. I find these tools, especially when you use them to get an overall picture of a niche idea, are very helpful for faster market research. Majestic SEO also has a free version that can be helpful in identifying your traffic sources and site structure.

      Hey Guys,

I am just starting out doing keyword research. I can find physical products(Amazon) pretty easy. However for some reason I have spent hours trying to find LTKW for Clickbank products and niches... I am using Keyword Sniper Pro.. I like it, its super powerful so it take a while to run.. Its only got 1 thread and I have to go a bit slower so I won't get my IP banned by the big G... -- I did find two FREE Kick A$$ tools. They work great inconjunction with Traffic Travis and GAKT.. Here are the links Free Keyword Research Tool | suggestion software for keyword research and the one I have been using is Keyword Optimizer Pro | Free Keyword Tool | Free Keyword Generator -- I hope its okay to put links in.. I am not affiliated with them at all. I thought I would just pass it along for people to use. If you sign up for Key Word Optimizer Pro he has 10 videos to show you how to use it for coming up with keywords. I have not implemented it yet, I just got done watching the vids.... Also I just found a cool tool on-line that will mass submit and create an RSS feed . Its Free Mass Ping Unlimited Websites or Blogs or RSS on BulkPing.com . They also have a quick indexer on the site too. All Free Tools .. I just found that website 20 minutes ago.. Okay, well I hope that may help you guys, and any guidance on trying to find clickbank niches that is not saturated would be helpful. Thanks Guys and Gals

Nulen, check out Sean Donahoe's free videos on niche research. Search for his name here and on Google. He shows killer techniques for drilling down into a niche with the Google Adwords Keyword Tool (free).

        Sean on youtube:
        Sean's site: http://themanicmarketer.com/

Tip: Go where the money is (health, wealth, relationship areas) and drill down to some high traffic, high cpc (cost per click) longtails (keywords consisting of 3 or more words) that have low to medium competition. Monetize similar to what your competition is doing (Adsense, affiliate marketing (Amazon, for example), digital products (Clickbank, for example) and work on your SEO (on- and off-page).

If all that's overwhelming, cut to the chase and buy either Jan Roos's or Michael Franklin's Amazon course and follow it to a 'T'. Physical products is the simplest, easiest way to get your feet wet. Jan and Michael are on this board, BTW.
