Get Indexed in Google in Only 3 Hours

People over think getting indexed and think it is hard to do or takes too long. I recently made a new blog last month and I literally got it indexed 3 hours after it went live. How?

well ..

all I did was post a (valuable) comment on someone's blog .. that had high traffic of course .. and that was basically it.

other than that, I changed my sig in WF to my site which probably helped a little too.

The reason this works so well is that Google is naturally finding it through sites that get crawled constantly because they always have new content .. like forums and popular blogs.

and the site does not have to be do-follow because Google still follows the link anyway, it just doesn't pass PR.

Hope I can help and tell me if you tried this with one of your sites !!

Yea this is true. I had sites that indexed less than 3 hours simply by posting comments on blogs even when they are no-follow.

Exactly, it's not hard, and people think they have to be "do follow" .. which is not the case at all.

The only thing I can say is that nofollow does not pass pagerank. Crawling and passing pagerank and two different activities by the way. So this is not surprising.

Fortunately it's pretty easy to get indexed these days. A lot of people still think it can take weeks.

Even a post or two at a few web 2.0 sites will usually get you indexed within the day.

Getting a blog indexed within hours is not a big deal. Sites take time but several add ons and other features can help a blog indexed easily. By the way linking to a high pR site where Google bots come more often can be quite useful for indexing.you can also get your blog indexed within hours by pinging it.

These days getting indexed really is'nt an issue, google is pretty good at finding sites/pages.

The best/fastest way is just put a link to your site on Public timeline - Identi.ca and you will be indexed in minutes.
