Is someone here still making a lot of money with Adsense?

Hi, lately i heard a lot of people saying that Adsense is dead. Why is that so?

I really like the idea of making money with microsites, because it's some kind of autopilot-income if you've set up and ranked the site.

Is someone here still making a good income with Adsense? How much can be achieved?

    Google did major updates lately, and will still do more major updates which puts that notion of autopilot income with micro niche sites into some doubt. People reporting their income has fallen has been through the roof last month.

    It is possible to make a few thousand a month with a lot of money and time and energy investments (whether you do it with few or many sites), but may not be wise to base all your energy into making hundreds of little sites which is tough to maintain as Google seems to be shuffling the rankings quite a lot these days.

    Some people I knew who were making few thousand to ten thousand up a month have reported their earnings dropped. Even very big publishers.

    Once you reach a certain stage with Adsense, it is probably wiser to focus on affiliate marketing or creating your own products.

    Adsense is not (yet) dead, but the game has changed a lot from 5 years ago. It's like the tennis you see today is not quite the same as the tennis 15 years ago (that goes for other sports).

    Autopilot income is working quite nicely with AdSense here. AdSense is giving me enough that I could take a nice vacation every month if I wanted.

        3 years ago I started a little site by the side, which pulled in $400-500 a month in affiliate sales on less than 500 visitors a month. Too bad I was too busy with work to replicate that by 10 times at least. But I realized which was more profitable.....

    My adsense income as a whole across my 75+ sites has dropped about 40-50% over the past 3 weeks, but it's not my main source of income though it still does hurt! I just thought I'd checked on here to see if others were experiencing the same sort of problems.

    I've been building sites that make income from various affiliate programs, but if I only had adsense sites I'd be very worried now.

      All of my sites that focus on adsense are mini niche sites.

      I have not seen any adverse effects in the last 12 months or with any of the Google updates.

      I have not built a single backlink to these sites in 8+ months.

      Adsense accounts for a small % of my overall business model but these are my findings with the 10 or so sites I've resisted selling.

    yah, i think Adsense is not a good way for income if you want to rely on. As microniche is just a small piece of site with no value to ppl. If you planning to play with Adsense. You must have a great looking site and value content for visitors
