TweetAdder Not Working: Anyone else

I've been using TweetAdder since Februrary and it was working fine. Recently, a new update was downloaded and ever since, I get an error message from Windows. TweetAdder is not responding to my specific issues by email and there is no phone support.

Anyone else here having the same issues?

    Hi there. I am also a tweetadder user and experienced that last week.

    They just told me to downgrade, here are the links:

    Thanks but none of those are functional and they all seem to time out. TweetAdder.com hasn't worked since yesterday. Hmm...

    Twitter changed their API so they had to update Tweetadder to make it work with Twitter.

    Since then they've had a few teething problems and as a result, brought out quite a few updates.

    Saying that though, it seems to be working just fine at my end now

    I noticed today that twitter changed their url structure.

    Example: hxxp://twitter.com/your-site-dot-com

    Now the same url will redirect to hxxp://twitter.com/#!/your-site-dot-com

    (notice the extra /#! in the url).

    @jrpt, sorry that those are not working anymore. Those were the ones forwarded to me by Tweetadder customer service and it worked for me last week. Mine is still working now...

    I hope you will resolve your problem soon. :-)

    I am experiencing the same issue. Neither the Mac or PC version is working. Tried to contact tech support in a couple of ways, nothing seems to be working.

    I would be nice if they told us SOMETHING about what they were trying to do to fix this.

    I contacted tweetadder support through their email and they said to install the update - which I've done about 4 times. It still isn't working for me on 2 different PCs. It hasn't worked all week! I just sent them another email asking if I could get a refund, since it's been less than 30 days. Good luck to all of you on this issue.

    Hi there. Mine is still working and just today, there are some minor updates. They also included a message that they are aware of some still experiencing crashing - they are still working to resolve this.

    FYI for everybody having problems.

    Re: the refund. They said they only offer a 7 day refund. I asked if I could still get one, since it's under 30 days and it's worked for less than half that time. They didn't respond, so I'm contacting my bank tomorrow.

    WOW! Finally I found a group of people having the same issue I'm having! This is a club that none of us want to be a part of! I'm having the same issue - after I downloaded their last update at end of April, mine crashes upon opening just like "jrpt" said. I have emailed support 5 times and they keep sending me the same automated robotic message - saying they are aware and working on update. So it's been about 10 days - when is the freakin update coming!?? I've been using them for about 5 months and this is really disappointing to say the least. I love the software but they need to ramp up the Customer Support because at this point it SUCKS! I'm gonna wait it out a little longer and guess if it doesn't get fixed I'll have to switch over to Tweet Attacks.

    Does anyone have any new link fixes to downgrade? But if they changed the url structure will that even work?

    Hi all

    Mine hasn't worked for a couple of weeks now. Just will not log into any of my twitter accounts. Says password is wrong (which it isn't) makes me go to the Manage Users screen and confirm the password, makes me (twice) do captcha, then tells me that the password is still wrong.

    I've uninstalled, installed all updates. Support is non-existent, I did get one response with a copy/pasted "install the update" message and that is it.

    I've had the product for around a month and now very dissatisfied. Yesterday I bought Tweetattacks and it's working like a charm. I requested a refund due to the fact that I didn't buy this thing for just a month's use, but haven't heard a word in response.

    Cannot recommend these people to anyone at this point unless they shape up pretty damned quickly.

    TweetAdder make us mad! We use TweetAdderfor maintains our client site but after changing up gradation software We notice our all accounts suspended in twitter ! Any one face this types of issues!

    TweetAdder is still not working for me on Windows 7, Vista or XP. After 8 re-installs. It only worked for 2 weeks and they refuse to give me a refund. Called the bank and they couldn't reach them, so I'll try again today. SCO0TLE's number is: 866-526-8105 but you have to leave a msg. Notice the odd way they spell their name?

    Would you believe they're advertising like crazy on Twitter? Looks like they have a LOT of affiliates. And their website is up and running too. So they are selling a product that doesn't work!

    To complain, email godaddy and domainsbyproxy (abuse at).

    WOW - this is crazy!! I agree - support is non-existent - I have emailed them numerous times - they responded twice then ignored all further request for help. Someone needs to get a first page site on google to tell the world about them! I wasted $188 bucks!!

    I was busy today but I'll get to the bank Monday and let you know what they say. I hope you get your money back! You're from Pgh, I grew up in Plum, LOL, haven't been there in years.

    Hi all, guess misery loves company!! I can't get my tweetadder to work again after that update and same robot message from tech support. I had upgraded too.

    This is very frustrating as the program ran so smooth.

    If anyone finds a fix, please post it here,

    Mine says on all accounts that I need to use the updated twitter which of course I am already doing.

    Good news, I had the same problem as you guys, just beta tested the latest TweetAdder build on my Win XP PC and it worked fine. I'm sure they'll be able to release it very soon. Hang in there, it was obviously a very complicated problem they had to solve due to Twitter's recent changes.

    Good - I hope they release it soon - I really love the software. But the lack of communication is just HORRIBLE! Communication is always key whether the news is good or bad, a great company does not just STOP communicating with the customer!

    Funny this subject came back up. Glad (not really) to see others are in the same boat and getting the same automated responses. Along the way I did get an actual email from a TweetAdder 'employee' jamie@skootle.com but that didn't help.

    I just emailed them with a refund request and if I do not get it, I will go to the Credit Card company to void payment and beyond that the BBB and any other organization that would police this sort of practice. I don't believe its a fraudulent practice but rather extremely poor customer service and probably an over matched support staff.

    Keep this thread going with any updates on refunds or changes...and just like others, I ended up buying TWEETATTACKS and if you haven't done so, run to their site and grab it. The interface isn't as 'cool' as Tweetadder but The @reply feature they have is worth its weight in gold. My sig says it all.
