I have been doing some linkbuilding the last few months and I have noticed improvements but I do not know which of my techniques were working the best. Is there a way to tract what is working and what isn't or do you just do one method for a certain amount of time then move on to the next.

Ex- I have been doing forum posting, blog commenting, social bookmarks etc and I do a few of each every day. I can't figure out which is working and which is a total waste of time.

Check your contextual link building job means quality, i think blog, forum, social book marking very thing good, confirm what is more relevant and higher page rank which that fast caching or indexing.

It's really hard to say which is best. You can use Market Samurai a little bit but it's not necessarily going to tell you which is most effective. In reality it is generally a combination of things that helps rankings improve.

Well...you can do your own testing by doing only specific things to certain sites, or since you probably don't have the time to build test sites, just keep doing it all. The more the better.

    Good Luck

You need to do split testing. Its good to try a different mechanism on a different site and to compare you may want to try using similar domain names and the same keyword and use one method on one and another method on another domain. In the worst case if you have to do on the same page same KW then time-split it with the caveat that rising from #20 to #11 and rising form #10 to #1 are completely different ballgames.

I am also looking for more ways to track my efforts. I want to capture what I've done (track what WSO's I've purchased etc). What I've changed on the webpage with dates, and then track results (monetary, SERPs etc). I can't seem to find anything to help me track efforts and correlate them to differences.

I use most of the common software (rank trackers, analytics) but have no way to correlate all the data together and say what is working and what isn't as well as making sure what I've hired gets completed (and works).
