Once you have created a link-worthy article, it is a blog post in most cases, take the following three steps to complete the Content Optimization.

First, craft a SEO friendly title, which means that the title must contain the main keywords of this article, but don't write a redundant title, the number of the letters should be no more than 80.

Second, write a description for you article and include two or three keywords in the body of the description.

Third, if you article has images, add unique title and alt tags for every image, so those images can be found through image search in google.

    Also link to other related content on your site; you'd be smart to create content "categories" of posts that interlink. Lots of people overlook this important aspect of on-page optimization.
