Not exactly sure either, but when you do an addon domain,
sometimes server issues and other things that I forgot,
it can "look like" they don't exist and point to the main domain.

I'm too lazy too look anything up at the moment.

I think i understand. You're using shared hosting and you're using addon domains for all your other domains right?

I've got a couple of shared hosting accounts as well and a fair number of addon domains but none of them are showing up when i search site:maindomain.com

Try contacting your hosting support. I think it's on their part that they have to do something about it.

I contacted them - they cannot do nothing with that

I didn't do anything...it's automatically like that for me...that's why i think that it's on ur hosting provider's end...

If your addon domains are on different topics than your main site then try using Google advanced search:

    site:mainsite.com -addondomain1 -addondomain2 -addondomain3

It will give you near to accurate results. Negative sign (-) is used to restrict search results containing any specific words.

    Thanks

      Hi derekad,

I think what you may have done is uploaded your site(s), your sub-domains 1 & 2 to your main sites root. Check in your cpanel to see if your have a couple of extra indexes in your main sites files.

Did you upload wordpress for sites 1 & 2 into your main sites root, in addition to the sub-domains 1 & 2? If so, that could be your problem.

Hope this helps some. I think I understand what you're saying.
