My site has just been started and it's on page 2 of google because the keyword I chose was extremely low competition. I'm just trying to get the hang of SEO and trying to understand some of even the basic things which is why I chose this keyword. Anyways, I use google analytics and I have 8 unique visitors but I really doubt that that's true. I think these may just be my visits on my website. I periodically clean my history and cache and I use different browsers to check up on my website sometimes. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks

Use filters in Analytics so that you don't show up as a visitor to your own site. If you're on page 2, it's definitely likely that you have actually had some unique visits. How are they finding you when you look at Analytics? If you block yourself in Analytics you won't appear as a visitor coming from your IP.

Hang in there...if you're on Page 2 so early you'll climb up to the first page, don't worry.

  • you are lucky that your keywords are not competitive and you are 2nd position in google search result. as you are getting unique visitors i think it is a good sign that your keywords are attracting people.

but for the problem you mentioned in your content the solution that i can suggest same like TryBPO to use filter in your google analytics so that it will not show you as a visitor.

    thanks
